- In all cases, both Dharohar and the respective library must be credited when the digitised manuscript content is used or cited.

While we cannot enforce all forms of use, we request that any commercial use or redistribution of content be undertaken only with prior written consent from Dharohar and, where applicable, the contributing library.
User accounts
- Registration: You can browse the website without creating an account. However, to view or purchase digitised manuscripts and access certain features, you will need to register by providing accurate and complete information.
- Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- Transactions and payments: If you purchase any services or products through www.sangrah.org, you agree to provide accurate payment details and to pay all applicable charges. You are responsible for any transaction made under your registered account.
- Refunds and cancellations: All sales are generally final. However, refunds may be considered in specific cases such as:
- Technical errors resulting in duplicate transactions

Manuscript access and usage
- Access: Access to manuscripts is provided to enable a user in his research and educational needs.
- Acknowledgment: Users agree to acknowledge Sangrah and the respective library in any publication or thesis that utilises the manuscripts downloaded using due process from the Sangrah site.

Sangrah may use third-party services for library management, analytics regarding manuscript downloads, payment processing, or other functions. These service providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and contractually they are permitted to perform only those functions necessary to support Sangrah’s operations.
Limitation of liability
